Purchased my new system today with cash (will be living off of credit cards for food now ). Tomorrow my friend will install all the software I need for it, and then it can come home. My piece of shit iMac finally fried out for good last week.
The repair facility could only offer me $60 for parts, it was that bad off! I was tempted not to take the cash, cuz dropping that bitch off a bridge would've been much more enjoyable & gratifying, but $60 is $60, and especially now that I'm broke....

I've been wanting to get a mac for a while... I would have paid you more than $60 for that iMac, I don't care how dead it is.

I'd get an eMac...
I'd trade my PC for a good eMac!
(And my PC is pretty good!)

Well yes, and that depends on what you would use your machine for... I would use and eMac for Final Cut, Photoshop, & Illustrator...I could use a PC for some of those programs, but at least one of those programs arn't compatible with a PC, when all 3 are with a Mac. Different machines, different purposes...

Re: I Made The Switch!
Good for you Nat. I'm sure you won't dread as much as before. Congrats
