Mario J (I think was his name) at sonic on one of those Sean Miller headlining nights. He was openning that night and he was horrible, he would let the songs run out without bothering to mix and there would be no flow wat so ever to the set, we basicly had to sit around and wait for him to finish before we hit the dance floor.

I was there too. I completely agree, I felt like I was having a stroke trying to dance to him...

I lost all my energy by sitting around on the couch and waiting for sean to start. When nights start at 2 am ... the opening dj has to be fucking good. RIP sonic btw

Mark Oliver has had me checking my watch a few times, but id have to say Chris Allen @ rum runners was the worst. It didnt really bother me though because i didnt pay to see him.

This thread has so much potential to get ugly.

ha, this is easy.

Astral Projection in KH a few years ago...played between Marco V and someone else (Max Graham or DJ Dan?).

- drunk out of their mind
- sprayed booze over the crowd at one point
- put a CD on for at least a half hour as they were too f'd up to work
- bothering the DJs spinning before and after their sets

IIRC one of the DJs eventually was so fed up with them, they angrily told them to fuck off and get off the stage.

Aside from the fact they are overrated to begin with, I decided then and there that I would never again attend an event where they were part of the lineup.


honourable mention to Nic Fanciulli (whatever...sp?) either Decadence '06 or May 21/06 in Guv. Fucking awful set...pure electo-ish noise...which is odd since so many people love him.

I lasted 30 min. and bailed to Orange Room 10 min. earlier than I woudl have anyway for a stellar set by either Icey or Freestylers (dep. on which event it was).
