Why do so many people on TA hate trance??? If I'm not mistaken...this is TRANCEaddict!!!

If you don't like it...why not fuck off to houseaddict/tribe etc.

When a lot of us joined tranceaddict we did like trance. Since trance has gone to shit over the years my love for trance has gone away. If producers started making tracks that were actually good and not processed cheese then I would probably enjoy it again.

You should definitely be checking out Ferry's new stuff. He's revisting the old trance sound. Heaven in my ears.

Someone should compile a thread with all the threads that have been created over the years asking this question. I believe you (T_ALI) have already made at least one.

Reasons for the decline of trance's popularity:

1. New, good productions are rare
2. Other types of music have evolved whereas trance has stagnated
3. Trance parties suck, and the people at them are generally annoying
4. Trance music and parties used to be very popular, now it's passé

Need any more reasons?

I don't hate trance. I just hate trance parties, and find no enjoyment out of 99% of trance. I just tune it out when it's being played around me.

Why am I on tranceaddict even though I don't like trance? Because I signed up on this message board when trance was still relevant. I have since moved onto new things, and I now like to communicate with others on this board about parties and music that is on the cutting edge, and not living in a decade-old era.

Tranceaddict is more about a community of people who have met each other through the scene. It's not just about the trance, it's about music. As much as I'm all about the trance, I'm kinda glad the house/techno heads are here, or this would be a much less interesting place to visit.
