Maceo was killer the other night. He played 2.5hrs. Shall Ocain did cancel so that was unfortunate. Cover was $60, we arrived early but by the time initial rush was done it slowed down at 11.

The club itself ran the best that I have ever seen it. They handed out hot chocolate to many ppl in line. Once it turned 10 they let everyone in really quickly. The line up was long almost all the way down to the next building but everyone was civilized. The perfect amount of ppl in the club all night. Deff was really happy with the management team.

Jon Jon Rosa played a really good opening deep house set from 10-12. At 12 he switched it up and played my darker which lead nicely into Maceo. I ID'ed a bunch of his tracks but cant remember at this point.
He did drop one tune at 12 which singled the change in style of music that was awesome. He also played another tune around 1220ish maybe it was a guy talking over it on a voice mail msg, would really like to know what tune that was.

Maceo was awesome, 2nd time seeing him. The first time was at Moskito like 3 years ago. The man is a BEAST! I like the way he danced it was kind of cool lol The tunes I remember he played were Conjure Dreams which was amazing! He dropped Sordid Affair mid set. The 2nd or 3rd last song was his remix of the Warden which was powerful on that sound system and a beautiful way to signal the end of the set.
For me thou the tune of the night was BLOODSPORT which he played early on. I heard it come on and I was by the washroom, and ran straight to the dance floor and killed it.

Never got to meet him, but I got a copy of the Blood Sport DVD signed lol

Overall another great night at Coda.

Would like to see Richie Ahmed next week but funds are kind of low this week. Hopefully somebody sick is booked in March.
