Apart from promise, tall trees and the empire are there any other good clubs which play trance in the north east??

Legends in Newcastle sometimes has good trance and hard house DJs, but they have a strict dresscode, and I can't find their website so don't know their listings.

LOST is a new trance night starting out for local DJs on Saturday nights, to follow up Promise on Fridays. Go to www.technoorgasm.co.uk/lost.htm (I saw the address written on the back of some bloke's t-shirt in Promise hehe). It only started last week, and obviously it's designed for local trance DJs, so you won't exactly get Picotto playing there, but it's something to do on a Saturday in Newcastle. Their dresscode is like Promise, there isn't one. Last Saturday it was held at Newcastle University Union. I'm not sure if it's there permanently, but keep checking technoorgasm.co.uk for local trance events with local DJs.

The Playrooms apparently does some trance, I'm not sure when, but it plays a lot of hard house unfortunately too. For example, I think Lisa Lashes is playing this month. I think they might have a trance night, but I've never been.

I think that's it really. I'm not sure about mackem land or that cloud of smoke they call middleborough though. There's judgement Sunday every now and then, and these Telewest events occur about once every 2/3 months. We're deprived of trance up here. Promise is great but it's only on until 4

ive heard some good things and some bad things about a club in Newcastle called Shindig, do they host any trance nights u know of?

Shindig is held at the same venue as Promise, Foundation. Promise is the Friday night, and Shindig is Saturday.

I've never been to Shindig, but I've heard it's mainly hard house, but apparently not that bad. Promise is the trance night. Last night they had Dave Seaman and Yves Deruyter, but I missed it. I think they have Taucher this Friday. Their dresscode is more liberal than Crasher; they don't turn anyone away for anything except age.

Did you go to Promise's birthday on the 26th? Mauro Picotto, Matt Hardwick and Corvin Dalek. It was a top night!

shindig is the house/tech-house night methinks, at leats thatds what the lineups looked last time i saw one, steve lawler etc. other than the one si mentioned i dont know any, but im gonna check out that technoorgasm site if it has info on local DJs, coz to me if they play the right tunes its all good!

JUDGEMENT SUNDAY is fuckin quality when it's on, JUNE 2nd at that event event is me next night out!!!

Sugar Shack in BORO is good when it decides to bring some top DJ's cos for me it's a good place with a top atmosphere!! Only problem is it doesn't get enough big names in very often.

BTW ALEX! What was this rumour about SCOTT PROJECT coming to BORO??? TRUE or not??

I dunno, a couple of people mentioned it on the Promise boards a while back that he is coming later this year to Boro, and not at the Shack. \they said it was just a rumour and didn't want to be held to it, but that it was a reliable source.

If he doesn't go to Boro, I'm sure he'll come to the North East sometime this year.
