So they take me in on a chain to Long Beach. And now they lock me up in the cell behind the court room in Long Beach while i'm awaiting to be heard on my traffic offenses. (parking tickets) and then I paniced and i'm thinking "oh my god, man, while i'm here, they're holding me, actually what's to stop them. i mean what's really to stop them?!" oh i assumed that maybe some day my mother would realize that i should've gotten out.(laughs) Nah, she was nuts, she wouldn't have known. But still what's to stop them?! and i'm thinking... and finally they called me. I'm sorry. I'll come out. I'll be dead. Scared.

K, haven't read the artice, but:

Ali G is a scetch done by some guy named Sasha Baron Cohen.
He came up with the idea after watching political debates and stuff on the tv. He worked for sort of a "saturday night live"-show or something, and made up a scetch.

He thought it'd be funny to ask all the old-ass politicians and stuff he interviewd questions about the politics, and their lives and shit. but most of it came with a double meaning:

Ali G: "So, do you think kids should be kaned/cained in school?"(snifs loudly)
Old dude: "Yes, this would deffinetly bring back the discipline in schools, I mean,... I used to get kaned at school."
Ali G: "You used to be cained at school!?!?! wicked man!! respect!"

With those kind of wordplays he made a name for himself.

kaned is being beaten with a stick by your teacher,
cained is being high on coke.

The reason why he is a "wigger" is because none of the politicians would dare question him about anything, 'cause it would be racist.

Then when he got onto this radioshow one day, he said Fuck on the radio, I think it was for the first time ever....
He just blew up from there i guess.....

So Ali G is a real wigger, but the guy who plays him,was a top-notch brown-nosing student at a big-ass college somewhere...
