before I turn 18 and am able to get into big clubs where I can really embarass myself, I must have all the dancing advice from the tranceaddicts, because I look like an idiot. Anyway, I really have trouble dancing even though it looks fun as hell. Any links or advice or anything would be appreciated.

Well man I dont think there is really a pre-set 'stlye' that anyone follows when dancing at clubs or whatever....just move to the beat the way that it makes you happy.*

let me tell you this my man....i used to be an ex bboy and when i first started breaking i had no rhythmn.....i could do moves and they were sick but no rhythmn whatsoever...its hard to develop rhythmn took me a good 3 months to find my groove...and then i became awesome.....but nowadays i dont dance at clubs unless im really tanked or if theres a hot girl i wanna dance with

b-boys in the hizouse! but anyways... just go out there and dance. i've realized that no one really knows how to dance. it's all in the attitude. act like you know what you're doing and then people will assume that you know what you're doing and think that you're a bomb-ass dancer. that's all i've been doing and so far it's worked like a charm.

Ah, you're obviously not aware of one of the biggest secrets about nightclubbing. Since you're almost 18 though it's probably safe to tell you.

Ever watched one of those "Ibiza TV" programs, or such like. Notice how the camera never sticks on one person for more than a second? There's a good reason for this. Nobody can dance. Most people (like the fools above) think they can but the truth is they can't.

When you finally get to your nightclub take a moment to look at the people around you. Pay particular attention to their difference styles. You see now? Yes, they look like idiots. Now get on the dancefloor and start moving, consoling yourself with the knowledge that you look no more a pillock than everybody else.

ya but bro theres a difference between moving to the beat and having a caesa....im not saying im good at dancing fuck im horrible at house dancing or dancing to trance....but i used to know what i was doing with bboying..then again i was like 14-18 when i was breaking...now i cant do jackshit....but when ever i go back to my old highschool everyone is like "THROWDOWN!" I WANNA SEE SOME FLARES! i had 13 flares =)

i'll tell to you what i tell everyone else who asks this question. just move with the music bro! seriously. move anyway you want. to the beat to the synth whatever your body's telling you to do. a lot of trance songs just make you want to jump, some make me want to actually 'dance'. as long as you don't dance like elaine from seinfeld..you're coo.

Im just suck at dancing but this is what i do when i get to parties:
First of all , you got to wait till many ppl sart dancing do not dance alone on the dance flor.
then when many ppl are dancing around you, you step inside the crowd and start moving, when there is a good moment of music comes, you put your hends up in the air, and wave them in the rethem.

why are people worried that they will look like idiots when they hit the dance floor? I remember when I first hit the floor, I was never worried about that. People will always tell you to move to the music and have fun while doing it and that is probably the best advice you can have. There's no "right" way of dancing, the only people who looks like idiots are the ones out on the dance floor that are trying way too hard to impress and you can easily pick those one out real easy. Just go out and have fun, and get some rhythm and you will do fine.

People tell me I'm a really good dancer and i've never had the slightest clue how to dance. Just go out and enjoy yourself, and your body will follow the music.
