How long does it take for blisters to go away?
I tried googling but couldn't find a thing. I have this blister on my foot for ahwhile, like 3-4 years. You think if I stop walking for a bit it will go away?

Umm...3-4 ... years ? doesn't matter if you really walk on it because i get a few on my feet from the beach playing volleyball or w/e and they always go away in a couple of days like they should.

That's one resilient blister...usually mine go away in like a week or so...

Try taking a sewing needle, and heating it with a lighter, or in a pot of boiling water to sterilize it. Pop the blister carefully. Be sure to wash the area thoroughly and wear a bandage to prevent infection. Also, keep a tissue or q-tip nearby to clean up the pus that will come out when you pop it.
3 or 4 years is a looong time though. This blister may require professional medical attention. I assume youve had different pairs of shoes along the way?

Stupid old me never changed his shoes when I should have, I changed them a little too late and it doesn't matter what shoe I have because it's at that point where it's sensitive. I'll try what you guys told me with the needle thing, thanks and more input is welcome.

Used to get blisters on my feet from walking/jogging too much. They wouldn't go away because everytime I walked on them there was friction. So what I'd do is put a kleenex over it to form a sort of cushion, then I'd stick it on with band-aids. Usually went away after a few weeks.
