But fuck it. So im moving out soon. Been looking at apartments to rent, and i think I have found something.
Which of the two do you like???
This one is cheap and is in a prime location. Basically has everything I want and is in one of the two areas I would like to live. Only problem is that it looks a little small, but I think I will go by and check it out tommorrow to confirm
This one is also in another area I have always wanted to live. Has the running/bike path I love. Close to my parents so i can jump on the highway and grab some food every second day and its just baller.
check them out let me know what you think. I'm a little excited at the same time a little upset I have to leave this oasis.

it doesn't look like these are all that far from each other, honestly. the second one looks classy and is what i'd tend to go with, especially if it's as spacious as it appears. although i don't know if it's twice the rent good

my only deal with the second one is that I can buy the condo and pay thatmuch as a mortgage. But I dont want to waste my goose egg on a condo. horrible investment.

Go with the first one. It makes absolutely no sense to pay that much if you're not paying off a mortgage. The first one is way cheaper, and the location is as good (if not better). Why pay double that for something you'd never even own?
edit I know exactly where that second unit is too. Right by Humber Loop. That area blows. Sure it has nice parks and the buildings are really nice, but there's absolutely nothing within walking distance that's worth checking out.

it surprises me that you're renting after being into the real estate agency business.
Why don't you buy something and sell it afterwards. Rent is pretty much throwing away money.

because I have other plans for my downpayment. rent is a better choice for me at this point and Don't get this little jump in real estate market twisted, theres still shit times ahead.
