I'm not really a gamer at all (nhl series, gta series that is it.), but I won a Wii and am looking for games to buy to keep around for when people visit. What are the best "party" games for this thing? Best games period? Humour and violence are very welcome. No weird used japanese panties shit plz. (ok if it exists i'll probably buy it.)

The Super Mario Galaxy games are hoss. Especially the second one.

this looks pretty fun. and if i remember correctly the guy at gamespot was positive to it. and the narration stayed funny the whole time. or not. my longterm memory is kinda fucked. or was it my shortterm memory? cant remember.

gonna have to try some of these for sure. I forgot to mention stuff that is pick up and play is a must. Complicated stuff is too much for my non existent attention span.

My gf is forcing me to buy Sars Sars Revolution.

House of the Dead Overkill is pretty pick-up-and-play. You'll want the little Wii Zapper attachment though.

Oh, and Overkill is different than House of the Dead 2 & 3.... don't get 'em mixed up. (I have both. House of the Dead 2 & 3 is not as well done. It feels very..... translated.)

i just realized that this is how Nintendo gets you....with the add ons. Jesus there is one for everything.

Absolutely. The nice thing is that there are plenty of options, but the downside is there is no one "perfect option" for everything.

Fair point; I haven't tried any of the other gun attachments so I'm sure there's a better option. In fact, maybe I'll look into that myself... HOTD is like our goto party game (great for the post-house-party stragglers).
