True Detective

Do any of you watch this show?
I've been watching it religiously, and it totally works for me.
I've been a big fan of Matthew McConaughey lately, especially since having seen Mud in theaters, though I suppose many people feel the same way.
The show's great, anyway -- from the intro sequence onward, it just sucks you in. It has a lot of the typical HBO production value and HD titty-bar asides, but everything just works for the show. It's almost as though they realized that True Blood is totally fucked and stupid so they decided to use this as the mulligan shot at the same hole.

Fuck yeah, such an awesome show!

Btw, shouldn't this be in the Television Series recommendation thread?

I sat down for the first episode with two friends and, like you, we were totally hooked from the intro onward. The whole feel to the show is just right.

And those titties in episode two, damn, they're definitely in my top 3 tv-titties

If you're into Matthew you've probably also seen Dallas Buyers Club? His performance in that is awesome too.

Watch every episode as it airs, re-watch it again Monday morning. Fucking love this show. I'll write more when it's over, but I'm enjoying the hell out of it.

That 6 minute shot. Wow.
