actually, i think it is. You could just play the file, and record it with sound forge or another wav editor (or total recorder).
Alternativley, you could use DBPoweramp , i believe that they now have real audio decoding and encoding.

Yes, dBpoweramp DOES do Ra-mp3...
im fact, it can convert almost any format,
though for some you may need to download an additional plug-in from their website.
not sure if you can directly convert from ra->mp3 but just decode to wave and then use LAME to encode to mp3. streamripper's internal codec is some fraunhofer one.
if you need to capture live real audio (or windows media) streams, streambox vcr at the same URL will do the job.

just use some wave editing prog like cool edit or soundforge to record it.. just set ur record input to 'what u hear' or whatever its called with ur sound card

lol, i have streambox ripper, but isnt that an illegal program now?
cuz streambox stopped giving it out or summin like that
