you can't be committed in percentages. if you really want to play the field, do your girl a favor and be straight with her. See what she says and if she agrees that you guys should spend some time apart and see other people, well there ya go! personally, I don't see the point in playing the field. If you still wanna play when you got something good, then maybe you need to rethink being in a relationship. If you wanna "play" then date, don't be a dog.

That's cool you guys are pretty straight up. The percentages was just to help describe where i'm at at this point. I wouldn't know how else to explain it without the percentages. With that said, this is my first real relationship and it's been goin on for 3+ years now. The relationship itself is far from perfect, but I can say that I'm content aside from the fact that a little part of me is still curious. You guys make it seem like its an evil thing but i'm pretty sure i'm not the only one that's felt this way. I don't know maybe you guys are speaking from experience and hindsight is 20/20. I respect your oppinions. That's why I asked in the first place.

its understandable that if you are in a long term relationship, not to mention, that its your FIRST... that you would feel this way. anyone probably would.. male or female. maybe it is the best thing for you to see what else is out there, but i offer you this piece of advice:

i have the strong feeling that there arent a lot of people out there that are worth the time and effort of a relationship. its even more rare when you find someone that you really click with.. more so than the other 20 million men (or women) out there. to this day, ive only met one such person. ive met a lot of guys, dated around, but never have i recieved a strong "Wow" feeling, except from one.

so i really think you should think about what you are feeling. its natural to wonder if theres something else out there, but think about what you do have. do you really want to give it up, and realize that the (maybe) perfect woman for you is gone? what will you do then? will it have been worth it to go out and fuck/date around, when you cant find another really, really special person like that?

but if its just an average relationship, which you are kind of making it sound like, id say go out and experience new things. life is too short to settle on something just because its comfortable.
