Smile How reliable are Chevy trucks?

(repair wise)

Just wonderin'.

I'm specifically wondering about the mid 90's model Chevy CK and Cheyenne if anyone has had any experience with either of those...

lets just say this, if it breaks, you'll find parts all over the place for it.

It wasn't really hard to get Toyota parts either when I drove a Toyota truck.

It's just that the brakes on the chevy cost hundreds and hundreds to fix, and I can't afford that kind of thing all the time.

I think it needs new struts/shocks.

I had read that Toyotas were more reliable because the Japanese were better at quality control and all that, but that was not my experience at all.

Of course they make Toyotas in America now anyways - or at least they assemble them in America.

Very, and parts are dirt cheap and all over the place.
