The Longest Day is also another great D-Day movie. Based on the novel by Cornelius Ryan, it touches on everything gearing up to D-Day, the paratroopers landing behind the beaches just after midnight and the rendezvous of all the British, American, Canadian and Allied ships crossing the sea to Normandy.

Over a year and a half of owning the box set and i still haven't seen it in its entirety.. I only have the last 2 episodes remaining..


But i've been watching the whole series with my dad, so i'm not going to watch it by myself, i have to wait till theres time for both of us to watch it together.
