over here we have a fair bit
Pakistanis dislike most others
Indians dislike pakistanis but are usually nice to english
Iraqis are pure violent
former yugoslav countries/turks are very dangerous & racist, many deal drugs & carry weapons often
Jamaicans/afro-carribean are not such a problem as in the USA with 'whites' but a lot dont get on.
I personally try to be fair & equal to anyone of any religion or race but sadly a lot of the country here isn't the same and it's getting to anarchy

we went through the worst of the 'white-black' things 20-30 years ago and now they're accepted in sports etc, infact the european fans boo our black players to the point where the whole country is on their side anyway

Re: question about racism in countries other than the united states...

ok so this whole annoying black women...annoying white women crap is obviously bringing out peoples feelings on the issue. so i'm really curious...do other countries experience racism in the same way that americans do? i mean, of course you'll always have people that are racist in every country, but i would think that europe and other countries in the world wouldn't have as much crap about race as the US does...i mean, it seems like so much of it is based off of the history of the united states...so...discuss... |
i will tell you this .. i thought the 'indian invasion' was only here in the united states, until i read and heard some news that the indians (not the native ones .. the other indians) are invading europe also, such as england ..
but the reason why the us has all this racism and it 'sticks' out the way it is right now, because of it's history, especially during the late 19th century and mid-20th century .. also, because the united states is a big melting pot .. everyone of all nationalities live here ..
just as long as the u.s. doesn't pull out the 'china effect' on the population, that would be cool .. if no one is aware of the 'china effect', the chinese government had enforced a law stating that families can only have 3 children (??? is that right .. or two .. one male and one female) .. the us rendition would be like there has to be a maximum number of people representing a nationality living in the united states .. if the number is over, then the leader of the nationality has either two choices : kick him out of the united states, or kill him ... that would sound sad and demeaning .. sounds like some rendition of 'lord of the flies' ..

Bull shit. There is a lot of anti-pakistani sentiment in Norway, especially Oslo. You are right though, it seems they're more against foreigners, in general, than a particular group.

well it makes sense that england would have a larger indian population given their history with india. i'm not surprised by that at all.
and i believe china was a one child thing...and that was partly the reason why baby girls were killed because parents wanted a son...

see now somewhere like the scandinavian countries...i wouldn't think there would be a lot of racism...but i think a large part of that has to do with the fact that those countries seem to not be as diverse as say england or the united states.
