All those runners out there...

well, the season is getting better and i've been running more and more the past few weeks. I usually run about 2.5-3.5 mi a day all on pavement & cement.

i'm curious what you guys run in. i've read up on a lot of different shoes and now i want to make a decision as i think i need a new pair.

i asked my mom, who runs marathons, what her male counterparts run in. they are all 50+ years old and recomended some new balance line to me. i've run in new balance before, but i'm just wondering if they have been running in them for so long they dont know any others.

I run year around and I ain't pimple faced. Go for Saucony shoes, they seem to know how to make the best shoes to protect yer feet. I go thru a pair every 4-6 months because I run so much.

I actually really liked my adidas climacools (both models) back when I used to do around 2-3 miles a day (now i can barely get three a week cuz o school). But anything from adidas i really like. Im looking into their new adidas-1's for the summer. they look cool.

i use my way-old Adidas Gazelle. i've had them for about 6 years. they were extremely well preserved until a year ago, when i started using them solely for running. they're still in extremely good shape, though. just comfy enough, although probably not designed for running, but i got used to them. yep.

h3ll yeh, i'd recommend New Balance any day. i used to go with nike but i won't touch anything but NB now. I run year round too (on the treads in winter, but it's toronto after all!) and NB's always done me well.

i really didn't want this thread to turn into a flame war... anyways

i think i've decided on the Assic Gel-Kayano XI's...

my mom had run in these for years and a mens line just came out...

there are a few new asic's in mens that i'm looking into, including the GT-2100 and Gel Evolution

well Josh, I've been jogging for 3 yrs straight, I assume I know what shoes to buy . Seriously each model is built for a different style of foot I think. I bought Saucony because I needed that heel support, plus I have flat feet. Check their website actually. I say don't buy Nike's, they end up just trying to look cool and giving your feet no support. Try ASICS, New Balance, Saucony, the real jogging shoes that take a real beating. But my grandfather has been buying the same type of shoes for 48 yrs, ADIDAS, heck he's nearly 78, runs 32 miles a week, so diff strokes for diff folks i guess

i've always found more comfort in Nike & Adidas for running, but Reebok for football boots
