what sort of blabbering idiot refers to the internets in such a ridiculous manner?

it reminds me of when people say "i'm on my way down" when they're actually coming from the South, so technically they'd be on their way "up"... but i always get irritated and feel the need to correct them. one of my old friends used to get sooo pissed whenever i'd correct him about it.
