Just based on all the health risks and the pain that's allegedly involved, although it's interesting to note that certain cultures don't consider the act of giving birth itself a very big deal. These are all cultures in which women (and men) are far, far more physically fit than the vast majority of people in "industrialized" countries.

Maybe the possibility of testicular cancer makes scary medical things ultimately about "equal," though.
