ok i know this is more for the aussies but I saw the 1st ep from the new series i believe and it was funny as fuck, the kind of humour we're totally missing from the uk... Was this weeks episode as good as it gets, maybe not as funny as some bits, and can we expect more ? also anyone who wants a silly laugh, go grab it

it's easily the best comedy coming out of oz, and done on the ABC's budget. still so much of it is only going ot be funny if you've kept up with current events in australia, so kind of surprised it would travel well

it's very much like the original 2 series of "the 11 o'clock show" here where Iain Lee, Daisy Donovan, the bloke behind ali g and ricky gervais all got their breaks. I can see that the more we knew about some of the aussie politics/news stuff would help in some cases but the majority of it comes off very well and is just the kind of offensive fun we only get nowadays when clarkson hosts "have i got news for you" as the bbc's latest "comedy" people are really shit and overpaid and not actually funny. Plus you pick on the yanks which always travels well
