Chili hmmmmmmmm.......

I need a recipe that will rip the ass seams of my pants. Something robust that will set my toes on fire. It's that time. What about blood sausage?

Actually, I need to invent something with sweet tofu and hominy.

Chili's the only food in which everyone's a chef concocting a dish of secret ingredients.

Spill them here, yes?

You're right. I just like saying it... blood sausage, blood sausage, blood sausage.

Chorizo would be gooood. I'm gonna have to throw that in. Is there anything spicier?

not really... not in sausage. Try adding a little hot sauce.. maybe chalula or valentina (if you like more tangy taste)

If you want maybe spice instead of flavor add some tapatio sauce or maybe some habaneros or jalapenos.

Do people use this in Guatemala?

It's just a matter of taste, but that sauce is like bottled malt vinegar.

mmm iv never seen anybody use hotsauce in guatemala. They just get onions, chiltepes (peppers), cilantro and a bit of lime juice and mash it all together. Then they use it as hot sauce.

Like pico? hmmmm... i like this, sir, i like this alot. I'm tossing around ideas right now. I'm thinking I want to make a salsa/gazpacho'ish chili with sweet tofu and hominy. I want squash in there, too. Oh, and okra and plantains. What do you think?
