If I went down on my knee and I where to present to you an engagement ring that looked like this:
Would it be nice? or would you prefer the standard large single rock rings? Or is it a bit not timeless enough? or is something unique a better option?
I don't like the large single diamond rings. The picture is a bit small, so I will have to go see it in person, I kind of like this one and it feels a bit less ordinary.
Tawts?

For some reason, I read this as estrangement rings.

I gather you think it's a bad idea?
You asked, if you where, as though you were looking for the ideal location to present that trashy ring to your betrothed. A discount store does seem like an ideal location for such a proposal.

This. Unless your girl feels sorry for Africans and blood diamonds, get her a traditional ring that doesn't look like you got it with a quarter out of a vending machine.
You better close/delete the F out of this thread before a female posts in it.

lol! really it depends on the girl, i mean we obviously don't know what she's like, maybe she likes rubbish like that.. but honestly, i think even the most "unique" girls are traditional at heart when it comes to diamond rings. My other suggestion is that you don't worry about the size so much as the clarity and faucets of the diamond. I have a smaller diamond then most of my friends, but it's a better diamond, you can tell when you look at it. The heart looks stupid. I know you think it's cute, but she's the one that will have to wear it for hopefully more than 2 years.
