Last night I was listening to dubstep with some 18-19 year old kids. Little hipster dudes. One had a long belt that hung down and was like rasta colors, the other was his age, like 19, and already had a bunch of tattoos. I was trying to show them some classic house, random house songs I would show anyone to educate them if they hadn't heard that stuff before, and I realized that they absolutely do not like house music.

How the fuck can you consider yourself a human being if you like dubstep and not house?

I was being an extremely condescending dick.

Who cares what other people listen to? It isn't your job to educate anyone on anything who hasn't asked you for advice. Do not cast thy pearls before swine, etc.

i can appreciate where you are coming from.

this guy i work with is just starting to feel out the edm scene, however all of his experiences are for the most part, are dubstep related.

it's very difficult for us to talk about music because he's always talking about dubstep. why is dubstep so disturbing?? lol.
