well i dont think the lack of representation helps.
alt those places not represented very well are most likely not going to have a very good scene either.
having been around the US a bit...i know theres a bunch of stuff in Cali, there has to be. Washington, the state, has some good stuff going on around Seattle. i know my hometown Boulder/Denver Colorado has a great scene thats growing in Denver, while its been in Boulder for a long time...i was a latecomer. i just know that if you like trance, dont come to Detroit....im here now and there aint shit. theres 'real' techno if thats your thing...but its not all its cracked up to be. alt on a positive note we just got a good club in Ann Arbor. overall, in my limited experience, while the super clubs in NYC were killed by Guiliani and theres that stupid RAVE act in congress, the scene is growing up and looking good in most cases. talk to more people tho, cause i dont want to speak for those that know more about their individual areas....
