He was rather arrogant about sharing for some odd reason

i guess you can look at it that way, but possession of drugs: are the big drug dealers losing money: no

but i dont know, i dont agree with selling them (cds), but people do it, and like drug dealers, cannot be 100% stopped. People in tranceaddict do this as well i am sure. but as long as i support the artists myself, i dont really care what other people do

Similar thing going on with KFC Networks that sells a 128kbps CD of a load of radio sets broadcast during the year with some twat talking over the top.

Biggest waste of money I've ever spent. and surely pushing the boundaries of legality.

frost and rock_roll, you need to chill. Some people have different opinions and everyone is entitled to his/her own. People who can't get stuff online won't ever get it (because of 56k or whatnot) and i'm not going to send them CDs in the mail just cause I like them, and neither will you.

As to being reluctant to sharing, as rock_roll mentioned, then if i'm not sharing, i don't know who is. With 300 GB shared, I'm at the top of EMC list. Why don't you get some files first and some hd space and then talk about sharing. That's where my money goes anyway, hd and connection.

All i know is these guys better find a real job because first they're ripping the Producers off because i know that for a fact that Some record labels are not making money, there actually losing money. All i have to say is respect them and buy there music.

That is correct. If it weren't for downloading mp3s, I would still be one of those people who thinks trance is "techno", and I would have never bought a single thing from any trance artist. I guarentee you there are another few thousand members of this forum that could tell you the same thing.

mp3s = exposure = interest = purchases = profits

One might go so far as to say that downloading mp3s helps the industry. Unless of course you're referring to pop, which already has all the exposure it needs.
