First of all, sheer the reflection image a bit to give it the appearance of being more wattery... Then I would of scaled it in Y to be smaller... Then I would of made it a lot darker, and by all means, not different sahde of color than the original, but that's just me (diff colors just accentuate the effect of fakiness)
As for line-up, consider that the part of the wheels (of the original) that are in the water are not part of reflexion, lol..

Hmmmz. I sux @ photoshop, but I still use it quite a bit to beautify my photos before putting them online......
Sorry I can't help you with that man.
Are you using version 7 BTW??? Where can I get a copy of V7?? I'm using 5.5 right now...
might wanna throw a gradient overlay on the reflection so its darker under the green car..u also need to rotate the green car a bit they are at different angles..the zig zag filter might help out the reflection a bit..but basically u have 2 different cars and it will never look right unless u are a real psd pro

kkd's advice is pretty good!
as for the new pic, try a different filter, cuz u can tell that the wavy-ness is fake...... and make the reflection darker, or like kirbtastic said, add a gradient, using the gradient might give it the texture of the asfalt on the road...
good luck

Nice stuff there Wozza! I wish i could do that so that at least i could sorta know what my car would look like! I like the way you've turned a Lexus into a stretched Renault Clio V6
First you got's to work out your scaling issues...
The green-green example nailed that... well close.
just remember that you need to distort the picture. Water isn't like a mirror. It's close, but not the same. Darken it and make it a bit transparent so the 'ground' under the 'water' shows a bit.
I can see that you were on the right track with the underside of the car... but I wouldn't worry about that so much... the underside of a car is dark right, shadows and all.
wozza was close... just don't make the reflection so solid.
