Ok so im 17 and shes 16... now with that being said... we have been going out for 10 months.. and this is my first SERIOUS relationship.. where i have taken total control over everything set standards n all of the guys i dont want her to talk to n shiet.... but she did the same to me... which isnt a big deal.... and over the months i noticed that im not really willing to take the responsibilty of having a gf right now and worrying and dealing with the problems that come along with it... i straigh up told her.. that i dont really wana be stuck with just u.... its not that its specifically you... i told her that even if it was the hottest chick in the world... i would enventually get worn out of it.. and that i wana be free righ tnow.. and be able to go out with ne chick i want anytime.. and be friends with a whole bunch of them.... so u guys are probably thinking "so why didnt u just do that during the relationship?".. because we started out by not letting each other do much with others... so its nearly impossible to change now.... so i told her.. that i want to be free as of now.. and since she is taking summer school and im not.. i figured it would be a perfect time to let loose and be apart for a while... i said if we're meant to be... then something will happen later on... but as of now i dont want the responsibility.... SHE also knows how i feel because she claims that she felt just like me in her past relationship with her bf which she went out with for 1.5 years.... and she recently put this in her profile.. this poem>>>

Some points.

1) It isnt that you want to be free. Find the right girl and you ARE free. So dont feed her bullshit lines that will make her hate men. Realize what your issues are and say that it is YOU. You dont want to be in a relationship right now, YOU cant handle the stress. Even if it is somehow her fault women are so fucked up from everything they dont need to be told that they arent the hottest chick in the world, or anything. It is always your fault. You will recover. They wont

2) Dont be a fuckin playah

3) Fate doesnt work in relationships. You want it to work out? Workk your fucking ass off to make it work or youll end up like every other fucking gen X'er with a 50% divorce rate. Relationships arent like the movies! it isnt easy! its a lot of bullshit and its HARD. but its worth it. Unless its the wrong one. Then you shouldnt have gone this far

4) It can never be the same. The trust is shattered forever. I just hope you can live with the fact that you fucked it up. If she was the wrong girl you probably can live through it.

5) it IS better being single. The only time its not better being single is when you have the right girl. Which is hard to find. Dont get into relationships because you are bored or lonely.

you are 17, you have a long life ahead of you. Why worry?, personally being single is less stressful than dating someone. Plus you got more money in your pocket!!!!!!
