my best friend from middle school/high school and i used to have a ritual every weekend (we did sleepovers practically every weekend)....we'd rent 2 scary movies and 1 funny movie to watch after so we woudn't freak out and have nightmares...i think i've seen almost every horror movie in that section at blockbuster...the cheesy early 90's ones are the best...

dont have a really big collection of horror-movies, tho I like watching them, my personal fav. of all time would have to be Halloween 1 from 1978, all the other parts were pretty weak, except maybe Halloween H20 from 1998

Nice to see so many horror fans on the board. I have battles between horror movies in the battle forum. At this time it's "Final Destination 2" vs "Halloween:Resurrection" for best overall horror film. So if you dudes decide to join, make sure you vote in that battle for which one you liked best.

Agreed, IMO the best horror movies have been made between the late 60s and the late 80s.

Evil Dead is one of my favs too along with The Shining and Dawn Of The Dead (the original, not the remake).
