So i know i keep hearing you guys in the states saying about high fuel costs. $2 a gal i think i heard someone say before.
Well i was wondering which area of the world has the highest price?
By me its 82.9 pence per litre which is about £3.80 per gallon.
So £3.80 x 1.88999 (current exchange rate) = $7.18

I'm posting the price as soon as I find out how many litres a gallon is
Edit:
Let's see... 1 R$ = US$ 2,562, and a gallon costs R$ 10,592.
Converting to dollar we get... U$ 4,134
(It's too expensive for our economy though)

I paid $1.99/gal for the cheapest gas last time around (last week or so)
However, US fuel costs are majorly subsidized. Our prices are kept artificially low by the government, who uses our Federal tax dollars to pay the companies to keep the consumer cost low. There doesn't seem to be any figures on the extent off our subsidation.

You may want to note that you are using UK gallons which are different to US gallons. Is works out about £3.14 per gallon using US gallons. And converted to dollars, approx. $5.95 per gallon.
Edit: I don't mean to be pedantic or anything mind. :P
