The CD player in my car supports Cd-text so I'd like to create some CD's with the trance tracks encoded on them.
Does anyone know of software that can support this? Thanks!

You can use either Adaptec Easy CD Creator 4/5 because they both support text-writing....
or you can use Nero.
I have both and use both. Both work.
Cheers!

i think it deppends on your cd player, if it supports cd text then you can use the feature on Nero or the Adaptec **** as mentined by ABT, i've been using it for a while and basically what it does is that it writes the name of the song(s) into your cd so when you play it in your car stereo the name of the tune comes out on the display (thats what happens with mine at least he he!)
peace...

CD-text was 'invented' by sony. It uses a certain block on a CD to store text characters that go towards CD title/name and track artist/name. On my receiver (Pioneer DEH-P6300) it displays the text on the screen so that I can scroll through the artist and track. It's very neat but now I have to reburn all 14 of my car trance cd's with cd-text. it's worth it though.
I even made a print out of all the songs on the 14 cd's in alphabetical order that tells where each song is located (disc and track). I have a 12 cd changer so just hit a couple buttons. For TA's coming in my car, its like a request line.
but I really can't help you, I didn't even know it is possible!

afaik, not all writers support CD-text burning. So besides getting the right software (what ABT mentioned or www.feurio.de), you need the right hardware, too.
CD text is cool! (BTW, the .cue-files for my mixes all come with CD text)
