If you can watch photos with it, then it's not stupid. Otherwise, yes. Same thing with the Winamp skins. Do you really spend that much looking at it that it matters what it looks like?

It's screen is too small to effectively view anything. You can't zoom either, so you're better off with keeping them on your memory card and looking at them with the camera. As a storage for the photos... maybe.
