Crappy Birthday Pt. 2
This time I'm just gonna rant about how I feel now, and HOW SHIT THE CANADIAN HEALTH SYSTEM IS.
The rash is gone and my fever had lowered. a lot. this morning tho, i woke up at 4 am and started to itch massivley. i couldnt fucking stop, it wasnt chicken pox or anything but aparently a symptom of the fever.
I tried everything. I took Benidryl which made me tired, I took "Reactin", "Claritin", and even took a bath in Aveeno oatmeal bath which only worked for about 15 minutes and made the itching even WORSE after the 15 minutes. I seriously wanted to kill myself.
So then, around 8 am i went to the doc, and he upped my antibiotics to 500mg, and told me to take more reactin and drink lots of liquids.
I came home from the docter and the itching had decreased a bit and I could control myself until 10AM which was when I went to my family doctor and got a blood test done. After the nurse took a shitload of blood out of me, I went home, took another Reactin, and my antibiotics and I was out like a fucking light.
I woke up around 6:00PM and felt pretty good. There was hardly any scratching.
Its now 9:40PM and I feel a lot lot lot better. I truly wish no one has to go through this painful shit.
Canadian Health System Sucks
------
When I went to the doc around 8AM, I was itching really bad. While I'm waiting outside of the doctors fucking office, he's inside eating his fucking Tim Hortons. I was so fucking pissed, I kicked his door open and told him to take care of his fucking patients first. Pissed as he was, he ran to the washroom and came back and helped me. Finally.
All of you who think having 'free' healthcare is great think again. The doctors here get paid for nothing. A swab here, a swab there, say "aah" ok. 250MG penicillin. Fuck that. This is my 4th time getting Scarlet Fever, and you are only supposed to get it once, that is IF you get it. Everytime they give me a bunch of fucking pills to swallow. I want to know WHY it happens, and what I can do to stop it.
I would rather pay for healthcare and know for sure that it won't happen again, or atleast I wouldnt have to wait outside of the fucking door, itching myself while the fucking doctor finishes his Tom Hortons.
