Rave Scene Versus Club Scene

What are your opinions and what do you prefer? (I guess this is more for North Americans than anyone else...)

Personally I like the rave scene, but clubbing is okay sometimes (if I want to see some big name DJ). Usually I have more fun on the rave scene because I can get smashed way moreso than I could at a club and the people tend to be more relaxed, open, and interesting.

i love raves much more than clubbing. clubs feel to me like bleehhh. commercialized and shit. a rave is underground. u can roll, get smashed and not have to hide it, and you dont hear commercial stuff. its whatever the dj had in his case that he picked up at the record store. i love the kandykids and glowsticking and light shows, its amazing. the irony is, the few raves ive been to, was actually in a club, but it didnt have that commercial club atmosphere.

I believe it to be damn near impossible to have a rave in a club.

But i could be wrong.

8 years in, and clubbing definitely over raves.

Raves = hippies and little to no security.

Clubs also differ throughout the world, so to say they are commercialised when you have most likely only been to 5 tops, 4 of which are in your home state, is a little ignorant

Besides, I've not really seen any trouble in clubs unless a person was too fucked (which is fine imo, don't need someone with no control spoiling mine or others' night), or caught with drugs, which, to be fair, IS illegal.

Also, 8 years of cracking out in clubs and never getting caught is a nice enough track record for me

u can, depending on the club. it doesnt always have to be in a field somewhere or a warehouse.

Mate, you should check the clubs in London like Heaven, Fridge, SEOne, etc

Awesome music, with enough plushness to keep those of use with standards satiated

Big comfy sofas FTW!
