A story about sex shops and being 18

Let me tell you a story about how funny Brooklyn is.

A year ago, my mom took me to a large supermarket. Bored, I left and wandered to a small adult video store/sex shop nearby. They had a large number of sex toys, and I wanted to check it out.

The man asked me what I wanted, and I chatted with him for a bit. He told me "Yeah, this is an adults store, come back when you're 18".

Now I'm 18, and I felt like going back to the store just for fun. So I walk in, go to the adults section and now I'm told "Sorry buddy, you have to be 21 to enter."

WTF?! They raised the age as soon as I turned 18! Why!?!?!? All I wanted was some sex toys!

wonder why it has so be 21 though, if you're legal to fuck what is wrong with entering a porn store?

Was it one of those porn stores with the little fapping booths and the trannies hanging around all the time? That might be why I guess, the kind of porn stores that double as perv meeting grounds I could understand wanting to be 21+.
