I don't think the symptoms of SAD exhibit themselves in just one day. It happens after long periods of low exposure to sunlight, and lack of vitamin D absorption. I can't remember exactly why vitamin D is important in affecting mood. But I know it helps the body absorb and use calcium...and I think that's something to do with it.

No but usually people who have SAD feel like pro is feeling a lot.

It doesnt have to be cloudy for a month to get symptoms of sad.

when i wake up and it's a beautiful sunny day out, i tend to be in my "wow, it's such a beautiful sunny day!" mood.

when i wake up and it's rainging, i tend to be in my, "shit, it's raining, i wish i could stay in bed all day long" mood.
