I suppose it depends on the context and the type of cape and accompanying dress employed. If I saw someone walking down the street dressed as a superhero on a random tuesday afternoon I doubt I'd be thinking hot. Now, if we're talking a cape in place of a jacket (like a cloak) then I think that's pretty cool.... sleaves suck!
