OK i got all these great videos of live performances...so i wanna know if i can convert them,.,.here are my questions..

1. Can i take my AVI or MPG videos and covert them so they can play on DVD players?..if so how?..and is it hard?

2. Same question but can it be done on VHS tape?

Tiesto14 LMAO so your retirement was not that long

Addict for sure.

Internet owns you.

In regards of the conversion on viewable support, forget about .avi you'll have to reencode them in .mpg and the result get crappy....

Else in regards of .mpg use last nero release they have an assistant that give you the choice of creation of aa VCD or SVCD.

It's a turn key proggy for that. Burn some cdr and play them on your dvd player.

Forget about encoding on dvdr you will loose your money this vidz are not good enough in quality.

Forget the vhs to who take you too long i mean you cannot taped at as faster speed than x1... will take to many times.

Else really think about another thingy, which is a device that send composite signal from your video card and sound from the jack of your soundcard on TV, it's wireless and you would save great money with this kind of device and time too.

Trust has made one called dvd tv viewer...

With this you play stuff on your comp and you view them on your tv no more cd burns and money wasted that really what i prefer most...

Hope this was usefull.

Cya' and keep on the addiction.

Not hard at all, If you dont have a DVD burner, You cant make a DVD, You can make a VCD (Video CD) Which will work with a DVD player. Check out

http://www.divxdigest.com

They have a bunch of free software that is good for converting\editing\burning
