Who actually reads/watches them? Do you all like the fact that this is pretty much what makes up 90% of c0r these days?



If I see an embedded YouTube link when I hover over a link to a thread, the odds that I open that thread just went to 1/1,000,000,000,000,000.

I guess internet videos were fun when I first discovered them, but now it just seems like a contest to see who can find the most absurd video on YouTube, and it bores the piss out of me.

Thoughts?

my job blocks www.youtube.com so when the vid is posted in the thread i cant see it

but work does not block youtube.com so if the link is posted i can go to the site a see it. For somereason when i look at the quote of the posted vid and put that in my address at work the vid wont play

there's people who only post the videos in an attempt to look funny, or there's reasonable usage of them, like random videos to explain a reply or silly thought. Starting a thread with one unless words can't do so is pretty pointless though.

there are some worthwhile vids, and not the ones that are reposts or older than the interweb...

It's starting to piss me off too.

The only time I didn't mind Youtube videos being posted is when they were from t'bills c0r news.

Well I like to watch funny videos in COR and I like to post them. This is the place where I seek entertainment as does everybody else. I don't want to browse 2 different websites one to derive amusement specifically from written posts and other from watching videos. I don't see any difference between written posts, pics or videos posted in the threads. People who don't want to watch them can choose to ignore the threads/posts.
