anyone know approximately how much it costs to get the kind of sound system that a DJ has to have, like huge amps/speakers and subwoofers? I'm kind of looking for a general price for a complete set of every piece of sound equipment you'd need (I'm assuming no turntables by the way...this all just for a CD player). thanks for advice!

For a basic setup that is nice cost about $1500...

You need:

-At least 2 Loud speakers

-1 or 2 subs

-EQ

-Crossover (optional)

-Amp(s) (You might wanna run an amp on each speaker/sub combination)
