Watching foreign flicks that aren't in...

Spanish and English (for me) is especially weird when there be a hardcore rape scene.

What d'yall think?

I honestly couldn't tell you. I was watching Salo (I think that's how it's spelled) and, er, Irreversible (sp??), and I didn't feel quite as awkward as watching Death Wish II and some other flick.

I hate when American movies that are supposed to be located in a foreign place or something are completely in English. Totally ruins the movie experience. Hitler didn't speak fucking english on the reg.

You know what's even worse? When they're dubbed. Like in Inglourious Basterds, when all the Americans were speaking German and then had a disussion (in German) about how difficult it was to get into the cinema because they don't speak German.
Dubbing movies has to be one of the dumbest and most annoying inventions ever.

Agreed. Although I liked Inglorious Basterds, I thought they did a good job with switching between the different languages

Thank god the only dubbed movies here are cartoons and some movies aimed for children ~5. Though they are all still available in original language.
