Converting ipod songs to 128 kbps AAC
My 32 gig ipod has reached its full capacity. It has the option to convert higher bit tracks to 128 kbps AAC. Has anyone done this? Will it give me more space? If so, will the sound quality of the tracks go bad?

I have not. Yes, it will give you more space. Yes, the sound quality will go to shit.
Therefor, the simplest solution I'd recommend is throwing your ipod in a volcano.
