This goes a little bit further than free trade....tarriff-free boundries that would make any corporation shift their business to somewhere else...somewhere cheapter is wrong.

Companies already makes billions, to move their company so the big boys can make even more is shitty....after all, those working on the assembly lines/desk work/*grunt* work are what make a business go round.

You know what

I think all those violent mother******s in quebec city deserve all the shit the police are doing to them. I got no problem with protesting and I'm aware that the majority of the protesters there are peaceful, and I beleive that they have a right to protest peacefully. What pisses me off is the small groups of radicals whose main goal is to cause shit. The radicals come with gas masks, slingshots, steel ball bearings, sheilds, and bats and shit like that, what do you think these guys are gonna do, they're gonna start shit and the police are gonna have to fight back, and for some reason everyone blames the police for being to violent. That pure bullshit.

Exclamation Corporate PR

I'll tell ya what's happening in Quebec City. The leaders are trying to decide what's the best way to give up even more sovereignty to the multinational corporations so that they can sign their election campaign cheques. Anyone who thinks we have TRUE free trade here in North America is kidding themselves. There are still many tariffs on products going back and forth between countries. By their very nature, they should not exist but they do. Free trade in the Americas is SELECTIVE free trade, that is trade that is decided upon by the MNCs and no one else.
Did you know that they're drafting a law that would allow corporations to SUE governments?? If such a law is passed, it will be a step back to nineteenth century economics and industry. If corporations have control over our drafting of laws and legislation, then that will be the beginning of the end. That is why the people are protesting in Quebec City. Even though their approach is a little too much, I still give them respect for bringing the issues out to the forefront cuz nobody else will.
And thats my two cents =)

Peace

Exactly, and Bush has no spine at all, to stand up to corporations drafting laws like this......This is what all the people are angry about, and I totally agree with them, but violence won't solve anything. The days when corpartions are going to rule is not far off if we keep going like this......

Idea hey..

Thank god they have all the police there, obviously if they werent the diplomats and ambassadors would be probably held for a ransom of some sort.
The police need to find a way to make a statement to these protesters, fire a couple of live rounds and see how fast people scatter, but thats too inhumane. Yeah right. some of these protesters take it too far with the violence and most of the violence is senseless and doesn't make any statement at all.

Holllly mackeral!!!!! Finally somebody agrees with me. What the protesters are doing in Quebec is so unbelievably STUPID!!! I hateeeee it so bad, they look like a bunch of freaks. Ya know what? If they start whining about rights and all their little lies they tell each other about what's wrong with the world it makes me even more sick. They look unbelievably stupid making an ass out of themselves by getting their ass kicked by the police and if I was a policeman there, believe me I would be one that's working them over. Watching the news about it and what those retards are saying makes me laugh because what they say is happening "behind closed doors" is a bunch of brainwash they they're fed by radicals that think up these things while they're high on pot or whatever they might be smoking. Anyways, enough of a rant for now, that's just my opinion, I just think it's so unbelievably retarded and they should all ship back to their own walks of life and leave people alone to stop making themselves even stupider than they actually are.
