Racism anyone?

I'm not talking about KKK racism per se, but just having preconcieved notions (negative ones). I do, mainly about white people. Obviously once I get to know them, and if I like them, then it all goes away. However, I must admit that when I see just a white dude I have a preconcieved imagine in my head of....plain and I hate plain. Same I suppose goes for blacks and hispanics (preconcieved notion=loud, thuggish). That being said, I do tend to have a more favorable view of those people because well....they aren't....plain. And obviously I gravitate towards Asians, myself being Taiwanese.

I know many of you will say "race doesn't matter, it's what's on the inside that counts" and all that stuff well....bullshit. Many of you (if not all) share the same viewpoint I do.

Well Jamie, if it makes you feel any better, I do not think you are at all plain.

Let's see... I've got mostly white and hispanic blood and some black and native american blood inside my veigns... most people I hang out are asians....

Even if I wanted to, I couldn't be racist

I guess we are too attached to what we see and what we're told, while we should focus on what we experience. I USED to have lots of prejudice agains drug users and gay people, for example, because of the society I live in. However, as I grew up, I got to know some of these people and I changed my point of view because I realised that this prejudice/racist bollocks is not something to be considered. You shouldn't judge anyone, specially if you don't even know the person.

My two cents

a prime example of how i feel about asians (which is the same as u feel of whites)
