I can speak only Marathi and Hindi...and understand a bit of Gujarati and some Oriya, only because that is my wife's language. Other than that, you and I are at the same level of understanding of other languages 
The dance in the videos I have posted is nothing more than pure local street dance. There's nothing more to it. That's obviously not what defines Indian dance culture. The telgu video that you've posted is a quirky movie dance form which is much appreciated by audience in the southern states of India. No where else. Dalher Mehndi video has the famous Punjabi dance form which is more widely seen due to it's prevalence in Bollywood movies.
So yeah, there's a huge regional variety and not everybody digs into every form of dance and music. On one end is the traditionally rich and ancient classical dance culture of kathak, bharatnatyam etc. On the other, you have the contemporary Bollywood dance, then the dance from south-indian movies etc. And then there's the street dance which is on the other end of the dance spectrum. It's essentially how untrained local people dance and that too in marathi-speaking state of Maharashtra, when they get drunk and let go!!
