- Žan Košir: I'm throwing this here because I wonder if foreign broadcasters picked this up too. He seems to have beaten Lee Sang-ho in the men's parallel giant slalom semifinals by one tenth of a second but, according to the judges, it was the other way around - that was so confusing.
TV kept showing replays that clearly had Žan as the winner, to no avail. Oh, and this squirrel:
Squirrel Run
- The North Koreans' Gala Exhibition: Their routine was fascinating, both because they were really good and because it was like being thrown back in time. The song sounded a lot like Asian pop music from the 60s, and their outfits matched the mood.
- Brazilian Bobsleigh
Team: Huehuehue! The closest thing we have to snow is the frost in our refrigerators, and yet we finished 25th out of 29. That's the best we could have hoped for, really.
Speaking of hope...
- Curling "flukes": South Korea's women team getting a silver medal was nothing short of Amazing, and Super Mario representing the US was also great.
I'm about to watch Germany in the hockey final. If that's anything like the World Cup, I feel bad for whatever team they're about to trounce

Ps.: She's from Prague so, although she was born in Czechoslovakia, that makes her Czech now.
