What is the best psytrance track ever produced, and why is this its 1st time here?

It's been months (no, aeons!) since this forum felt alive. Maybe we all forgot it was here, the way you forget an old password or the shape of someone's laugh. But something extraordinary has happened, and silence is no longer an acceptable form of reverence.

I'm here to declare a cat has helped spin the greatest psytrance track ever created, and I won't take it back. I'm aware this sounds absurd. I'm also aware that being aware it sounds absurd makes it no less true. The track came out earlier this year, birthed quietly into a world too busy scrolling to notice. But now it's time to look. To listen. To surrender. You're here for this very reason.

GMS, Man With No Name, Astral Projection, Radiotrance, that really nice South African guy on YouTube. They laid the psychedelic foundations with infinite care and cosmic dust. They built the temple. And then Ethel, this feline emissary of the trance pantheon, padded in, and started OiiA OiiA'ing with W&W's assistance:

My cats, who sleep through Astrix and give Infected Mushroom the side-eye, actually got up for this one. Well, sort of. They soft blinked in rhythm. They started doing that spooky little shoulder-shimmy they save for when something ancient is happening on the other side of the window. They ekekekek'd. I pspspsps'd. I watched them watching, and I understood: the Netherlands have done it again. I mean, I think they're Dutch, aren't they? They've conquered yet another subgenre of trance music with the kind of soft tyranny that makes you grateful for the invasion. Once again the world goes from heel turns to heel goed. If you don't speak Dutch, that's how they say "Hello, God!", for this is an encounter with the divine.

Is the Oiia cat the best thing to happen to psytrance? Yes. Do I refuse to elaborate any further? Also yes. Some truths are self-evident. Others are feline. This is both.

What have you been smoking Marcus?

"heel goed" is "very good" in Dutch, but you'll know.

Yes, W&W is Dutch, not that I really was aware of that. But W&W comes from Willem van Hanegem Jr and Ward van der Harst (alias Re-Ward).
It's funny he's the son of Willem van Hanegem, who was a very good and tough football player at Feyenoord and Oranje (National Team for others).
I think I should send you over a Feyenoord soccer shirt now

Spytrance was the only genre missing at their list

When I close my eyes that cat is still Spinnin' Records

Hey! As far as religious experiences go, meeting God is pretty damn good, so I stand by what I said!
