Name Your Top 3 Muscians

I love asking this question to people I meet. It helps me get to know them a little better and sometimes introduces me to new music.

Name your top 3 musicians.
1. Elvis!!!
- he was the first bit of music I got to listen when I young. I know his reputation these days aren't the best, but I always seem to get a little jiggle when 'Don't be Cruel' comes on.

2. The Doors
- this was my dads favorite band that he used to play all the time. I used to hate them because it reminded me of doing chores around the house. Then I got to college and experimented a tad bit and their music finally clicked).

3. Depeche Mode!!!!
- Probably my favorite band but the other 2 have historical reasons. This was the band that became MY music. Their sound was different from anything else my friends were listening to. Everyone thought they were weird. Something in the back of my head was just amazed by them. As time progressed, I began to understand why I loved them so much.

Bonus Points: Top 3 DJs:

1. Sasha and Digweed
- Will forever be their fans

2. Dixon and Ame
- Game changers for me.

3. Danny Tenaglia
- Legend!!

1. Sting
- one of the best to ever do it. The Police were a big part of my high school days, but as my musical taste matured, I really appreciated his solo stuff as well. IMO, he is the best living all-round musician right now. A often get asked what is the best concert i ever went and i will always come back with The Police reunion tour in 2007.

2. Blackie Lawless of W.A.S.P.
- AS metal head, I would always walk past their albums. Then i heard a W.A.S.P song on the radio and it won me over. Bought a lot of their albums and followed their career closely. Blackie Lawless is an amazing musician, song writer and a great lyricist who is often overlooked in the metal community.

3. Dave Grohl
- Wasn't much of Nirvana fan but can't deny that Nevermind is the 2nd most important album in the history rock. Nirvana is the last band the actually change the landscape of music and Grohl was a part of that. I am a Foo Fighters fan. Their songs may not be 7-9min epics that i usualy like but they are really good. EverLong is the last great rock song of the 90s

top 3 DJs:

1. Danny Tenaglia
- He is the DJ's DJ after all

2. Victor Calderone
- i miss his marathon sets at CROBAR in NYC

3. Ellke Kleijn
- He is helping keep progressive house alive

Great pick and agree 100%. He's a genius! And that tour was amazing. I didn't attend any of the shows but appreciate watching them on youtube. You can see how far they've come musically.
