1. Sting
- one of the best to ever do it. The Police were a big part of my high school days, but as my musical taste matured, I really appreciated his solo stuff as well. IMO, he is the best living all-round musician right now. A often get asked what is the best concert i ever went and i will always come back with The Police reunion tour in 2007.
2. Blackie Lawless of W.A.S.P.
- AS metal head, I would always walk past their albums. Then i heard a W.A.S.P song on the radio and it won me over. Bought a lot of their albums and followed their career closely. Blackie Lawless is an amazing musician, song writer and a great lyricist who is often overlooked in the metal community.
3. Dave Grohl
- Wasn't much of Nirvana fan but can't deny that Nevermind is the 2nd most important album in the history rock. Nirvana is the last band the actually change the landscape of music and Grohl was a part of that. I am a Foo Fighters fan. Their songs may not be 7-9min epics that i usualy like but they are really good. EverLong is the last great rock song of the 90s
