it seems the tracks are always sped up ? or paul van dyk does something amazing to them which I can't find the right remix or its some unreleased thing

Of course PVD sped up the Bpm.
Is: Original Mix , Realistic (Infernal Machine 2001 Remix) is from 2001 http://www.discogs.com/Infernal-Mac.../release/137752
and sound between the original and the Infernal Machine 2001 remix is almost similar.
