C'est du moins l'information dont je dispose pour l'instant. Plusieurs camions de pompiers sur la rue Sainte-Catherine très tôt ce matin. Le site LCN (lcn.ca) affirmait que « Un immeuble commercial de trois étages a été la proie des flammes cette nuit sur la rue Ste-Catherine dans l'arrondissement Ville-Marie. Le feu a pris naissance vers 4 h dans le plafond du premier étage pour ensuite se propager aux murs. Les pompiers ont mis moins d'une heure Ã_ maîtriser le brasier. Un agent de sécurité se trouvait sur les lieux au moment où l'incendie s'est déclaré. Personne n'a été blessé. On ne connaît pas la cause pour l'instant. »

Police are investigating a possible arson at Stereo night club, a popular destination on Ste. Catherine St. E. in the Gay Village.

A female employee of the bar discovered the fire after hearing a bang at around 4:15 a.m., Montreal police said.

The establishment at 858 Ste. Catherine St. E. sustained major damage before firemen could extinguishe the fire.

Police don't yet know how or when the fre was started, but called it "suspect."
