Preach and DJ Dan aside.. most of these names don't excite me personally all that much.. but Ottawa promoters have definitely been securing some primo bookings, especially in the last year.
I have made the comment before that much of it is a result of several different promoters able to bring in headliners on any given weekend, either way I am impressed.. nice to see that kind of support for the bookings!

I am going to try to check out Preach at Surface.. but Richie Hawtin's site still lists him as playing Montreal that night.. hmmmmm

Sander is actually end of Nov.. the rest were in Oct

to be honest, while I know it's common Ottawa promoters will book names that are passing by these parts for obviou$ reasons, the 7en entertainment promoters throwing this party have been trying to book him for yeeeears.. so, while I have no idea if he is booked anywhere else in Canada that weekend, it's possible it might be exclusive.

I'm not a fan of surface itself, but there is definitely something to be said about seeing a big headliner in such an intimate venue! I was so disappointed Carl cancelled his 3 week tour last summer.. seeing him there would have been amazing!

I can't afford to keep making roadtrips all over the countries to see dj's I really want to see... hahaha

I will just hope he comes to TO as well then... that is all there is to it or else he will still be #1 on my list of DJ's I must see!

If Sander is booked in Ottawa I'm willing to bet he'd be booked in Toronto and Montreal, too. I've heard rumours about Montreal but nothing concrete.

actually Sander will be playing at Capital Music Hall not Surface but it will be an afterhours event.
